PRESERVING OUR LANDS
From the beginning, Sisel’s founders, Tom Mower Sr. and Tom Mower Jr., were deeply committed to preserving our environment and imperiled wildlife. Tom Senior donated $3 million to the start of the SFW Foundation, which helped reintroduce buffalo, bighorn sheep, turkey, and other wildlife, and rehabilitated over 1.5 million acres of public land.
Through the years, we’ve purchased a 9,000-acre wildlife Haven, customized for habitat restoration by adding a wildlife water supply, selective timbering, chaining invasive cedars, and implementing vegetation seeding, all to achieve wildlife management. We’ve established a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to long-term conservation — protecting natural habitats & supporting diverse wildlife so ecosystems can thrive for generations to come.
